Horizon
Much of the market operates under duration constraints: capital that must be deployed on schedule, returned on schedule, or defended quarter by quarter. We focus on assets and situations that such investors cannot hold, where an owner needs liquidity, certainty, or time that conventional capital cannot provide.
Flexibility
We invest across asset classes and structures in order to capture constantly shifting imbalances in the supply and demand of capital. The edge lies in the ability to move capital quickly to wherever the imbalance sits.
Relative Skill
We believe that investment skill is abundant, making alpha capture difficult in most markets. We focus on areas where the dispersion of skill is wide and relative skill still dominates the investment outcome. These are markets too small or too far from the mainstream to be priced efficiently.
